The Instigators (HLM Architects, Scott Brownrigg & Synergy)
Band History
All previous musicians in a former life, we initially came together as Architects (HLM & SB) on the DTR PFI project 5 years ago. This musical friendship blossomed and subsequently grew to involve other band members as noted to create the ultimate proof of collaborative working with architects, project managers and cost consultants working together at many different venues over the past 4 years raising in turn over £5,500 for various charities.
Band Members
Christopher Liddle - LeadGuitar/Vocals
Chris is an architect and designer and Chairman of HLM Architects with a musical career that originally terminated in 1971 and resumed playing in a number of bands in the early 90’s to the present day.
Mike Warren - Guitar/ Vocals
Mike is an Architectural Director of Scott Brownrigg Architects and enjoys rock, folk and blue music.
Pete Barringer - Drums
The newest member of the band and has been drumming for many years and also plays keyboards.
Graham Harvey-Brown - Bass Guitar/Vocals
Graham is Managing Partner of Synergy and is an accomplished guitarist and bass guitarist with his roots in the blues.
Faye Liddle - Vocals
Faye aged 25, works with the HLM team and has been singing in bands since the age of 12.
Terry McMahon - Sound Engineer
Has been working alongside the band for 2 years.
Roger Matthews - Guitar & Harmonica
Guitar & harmonica plus vocals. Roger is an Architect at HLM and plays guitar in various parts of the community as well as the band.
